Monster Mapped Names - Orthographically Mapped

Mapping our Names

The children will usually choose the Blue Cow Phonemie /ʌ/ (over the Silly Schwa /ə/) for their names at first. This is because it’s the phoneme they use when segmenting, and the schwa is used when connecting the word in a sentence. So they can choose, and both are ‘right’. And if this doesn't make sense to you yet, do the training!:-)
