As seen in the UK, where phonics teaching and testing has been mandatory for over a decade, at least 25% of children do not reach the 'self-teaching' phase, after 2 years of systematic synthetic phonics instruction. Miss Emma managed two 'outstanding' nurseries in the UK for almost a decade, and was appointed by OFSTED as an Inspector. She specialised in 'The Early Years 3 - 7' during her four year teacher training (BEd Hons) and has QTS.
She focused on Behaviour Management, PSED and Dyslexia within a Masters Degree undertaken at Nottingham University, and is currently undertaking Doctoral studies at the University of Reading.
